Special Day's of the year: It's History; Things we have to be known.

    INTRODUCTION:

    Here we are gonna see about important events in history mentioned by dates. Necessary points, unknown points with a neat and easy presentation.



    AUGUST 6:[First Nuclear Bombing Mission]


    1945 August 6 a crucial incident happened in japan. The united states caused to explode nuclear bombs (LITTLE BOY) in Hiroshima on 6th August.




    It is a uranium gun-type bomb that exploded with a force of 13 kilotons. It almost killed 129,000 civilians. As it was a radioactive material the effect of it was horrible.


    Enola Gay is the first aircraft to drop a bomb. At the final stage of world war-2 Enola gay bomber aircraft dropped "Little Boy" (Nuclear bomb) on Hiroshima.


    The world war -2 is considered as the largest war in the history which killed 50,000,000 lives.


    The pilot on the aircraft is Paul Tibbets. The United States warned japan before dropping the bomb.


    They dropped leaflets (EXPECTS A RAIN OF RUIN FROM THE AIR, THE LIKE OF WHICH HAD NEVER SEEN ON EARTH) in cities of japan asking them to vacate the place. Hiroshima is selected for Testing Atomic Bomb and to know its effect.



    World war-2 was started because of conflict over two groups axis power(Germany, Italy, Japan) and allied powers(United States, France, Britain, and soviet union).


    The Axis power leaders are Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Emperor Hirohito. The allied power leaders are Winston Churchill, Charles de Gaulle, Franklin d Roosevelt, and Joseph Stalin.


    The day before June 6, 1944, is known as d-1 and then after is known as d+1, d+2,.........etc.


    The Japenese bombed the American fleet in pearl harbor on December 7, 1941, on the same day America enters into the world war-2


    The start and end:

    Germany invaded Poland on September 1 1939 and it ended with the surrender of the Japanese on September 2, 1945.


    World war-2 was ended by the invasion of Germany(last war in Europe) on 8 May 1945, the capture of Berlin by Soviet troops, and the suicide of Hitler.


    NAGASAKI:

    Nagasaki is the imperial navy base for japan during the First Sino-Japanese War and the Russo-Japanese war.


    Nagasaki was the last city to have a Nuclear bomb attack. The UNITED STATE detonated a nuclear weapon on August 9 in Nagasaki.

    The United States is the only country that has used nuclear weapons other than testing purposes.


    They dropped a plutonium Bomb from the B-29 Superfortress plane on Nagasaki (11.02 am on August 9, 1945) which is held three days later of the Hiroshima bomb blast.


    They named the bomb “Fat Man”. (Based on its appearance)

    Weight = 10,000 Pounds

    height = 11 feet long

    Capacity = 20,000 tons of explosives.

    Bockscar was the plane which carried “Fat Man


    On the first day of the Explosion, Half of The population of Nagasaki was dead. (Nearly 65000 people died).


    After that continuous people died because of the effects of burns and the effect of radiation.

    Many Died because of malnutrition and other severe injuries.

    These two consecutive Bombings forced japan to surrendered and thus world war 2 ended. Japan (August 15) surrendered from one week of this Bomb Blast.


    At the end of 1945, Japan Reported that 140,000 and 74,000 people died at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, respectively. The name of the survivors from the blast was Hibakusha (“Atomic Bomb affected people”).

    The survivors urging world leaders including their own to do more for a nuclear weapons ban.
